Nullifying the "systemhelper" in the common1 CNS will make the character playable, and the message will show up after the character wins the match, but it will not interfere with gameplay. Nullifiying it in just eh char's CNS will make it appear to work fine at first, but after one round of arcade, the game screen goes black, the lifebars disappears, and a message covers the screen (probably something about not being in the Nijikaku game). I'm really dying to find out what some of these correspond to, but all my searched take me to Japanese websites, and, well, I get stuck from there.ĮDIT2: Don't want to bump this, but for future reference: when importing these into 1.0, you need to nullify the "systemhelper" state in both the char's CNS and the common1 CNS. Cause I only understand or can find information on half of them, and I'd like to know what they all mean.ĮDIT: I'd be willing to help and put forth what little knowledge I've found on them. BASE SPEED is the default speed of the chart, Use X Y Z toggles whether or not to include the X, Y, or Z buttons in the chart, PENALTIES ON/OFF toggles whether the player should be punished for pressing the wrong button, ARROWS POSITION aligns the directional button icons to the left-hand side of the chart, and KEY LIMIT limits the number of notes that can appear simultaneously. It'd be cool if someone with a better understanding of Japanese culture could make a list of the memes that correspond to the characters. MugenNijikakuHere's something special I wanted to share years ago, it's a 12.24 GB archive of Nijikaku related files from the Nijibox uploaders with various characters, stages, pictures, videos & sounds. If a player breaks their chain, the speed reverts back to the default.Ĭatwalk has a configuration file, CONFIG.txt, which contains a few options that can be adjusted to make the game easier or harder. So yeah I need help on adding a character. At the beginning of every round, Spelunker. Spelunkers main mechanic is his lives system. This means that does a light attack, does a strong attack, does a grab attack, is used solely for a level-3 Hyper, and the remaining and are used for Specials and Hypers. I checked in FFS it doesn't look like he has a character portrait or at least if he does have one it's not working. Spelunker is a 6-button character that plays using a Nijikaku-style layout. The chart's speed starts at a default rate, but increases for every chain of 50 notes successfully hit. I'm trying to add a character portrait for wano Luffy but whenever I put them in my Mugen The only thing that shows up where the character portrait would be It's just a standard sprite. This also means the chart's length is determined by a timer rather than the length of a given song, and is charted semi-procedurally. The player must survive for a given period of time as indicated by the "TIME" bar at the top of the screen this defaults to 60 seconds.ĭue to technical limitations, Catwalk's note chart does not map to any particular song or stage, nor does the character come with music. Life can be slowly regained by hitting a string of buttons, known as a "chain" in-game (not to be confused with chain attacks). If the player misses a button press or presses the wrong button, they will lose some life. The objective of Catwalk is to hit the buttons that appear on screen at the right time that being when the buttons overlap the green line at the top of the screen. Adjusted the Opera Signer's spawn location. Removed hitboxes for unused animations. The opera signer is an exception, running on a cooldown instead.Įverything is unblockable so you have to move your way out, or use a counter of sorts to prevent damage.
